The Full Stop Café at Bookbarn International

The Full Stop Café has grown into a busy little place serving fresh homemade food and cakes throughout the day. 

Our Menu includes things like delicious home made sandwiches and soups with local bread, garlic mushrooms on toast and a hearty veggie breakfast. We even make our own jams and chutneys!

All of our cakes, soups, salads and savoury snacks are made on the premises by our team and vary day to day as do our range of cakes depending on the season and what recipes we've discovered.

We take the time to prepare our food freshly to order in our open kitchen. When it arrives you will have a generous portion of delicious healthy food. All our food is vegetarian, and there is plenty that is vegan or can be adapted to a gluten free diet. Other dietary requirements can be accommodated, just let us know at the counter. Wherever possible we try to use local organic ingredients.

Most of our fruit, veg and eggs com from The Community Farm set in the Chew Valley between Bristol and Bath. We use lots of organic veg and we only use free range eggs.

Delicious fresh bread and tea cakes are baked daily by Bread and Beyond just down the road in Chewton Mendip.

We serve freshly ground, organic, fairtrade coffee from our local supplier Beans and Machines!

Booking and special menus

We love to accommodate parties and groups and offer space for clubs and meetings. Please speak to one of the team when you visit or contact us via email or telephone.

With prior booking we can also arrange special menus such as a birthday lunch or afternoon tea.

Our kitchen sometimes uses the following allergens during food preparation: eggs, gluten, peanuts, nuts, soya, mustard, sesame, celery, celeriac, onion and garlic. Please let us know if you are gluten intolerant or have any other allergy when you order - even if you are choosing something that is marked as allergen free.
