Our bookshop is located amongst the rolling hills of rural Somerset, UK. The cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells are all just 30 minutes away.
You can visit our bookshop seven days a week. It’s crammed full of beautiful and bargain books on every available shelf. With such a vast array of subjects and sections it’s up to you to delve in and treasure hunt… hopefully you'll resurface after a few hours!
We also have a delicious on-site vegetarian cafe, cosy sofas and a log burner to keep you toasty in the winter. It’s the perfect place to sit back, relax, enjoy a coffee and some food and have a good read. So what are you waiting for? Come and say hello!
You can also browse our online database during your visit - this is the stock we keep in our warehouse and list for sale online. Just use one of the computers in the cafe to search, then ask a member of search to pick the book for you. It’s as easy as that.
And if you're looking for something extra special you can also peruse Darwin Rare Books; a handpicked selection of rare and collectable, old, hard to find or just fascinating and beautiful books.
