The last of 2019's Book Kilo Sales takes place this weekend, on Sunday the 25th and Monday the 26th of August. Between 11am and 5pm on the Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday, we'll be opening up our vast warehouse to allow you to browse some of the stock that doesn't reach the shop shelves. We sell internationally, which means we're constantly refilling our warehouse shelves with books of all shapes and sizes, and we want to give you a chance to buy some of these at the reduced price of just £2 per kilo.

The stock will be changed around during both days, making sure that there's always new things to find. Come along, fill up a bag or box (or car!) with goodies, then weigh and pay. Super easy and a lot of fun, diving through the varying types of books to find your treasure.

If that alone doesn't lure you in, we'll also be running a 20% discount in our beautiful Darwin Rare books room throughout the duration of the sale. If you've spotted something in there on a previous visit but couldn't quite manage to treat yourself - come in this weekend and get it at a lower price, and feel smug that you waited.

Our brilliant cafe will be in business as usual, serving up delicious veggie lunches and cakes and coffees to keep you fuelled for your book-browsing adventure, and our £1 bookshop will be stocked full to the brim to make sure there's an overwhelming quantity of books for you to search through. Please be aware the cafe will close at 4pm on both days of the sale.

And to add even more to the fun, we will be soft launching our Reuse, Read, Recycle campaign, with the help of our new organic tote bags that we'll be selling at just £5 each or FREE if you spend £20 in the shop or the Kilo Sale.
